River Report... FLOATING CONDITIONS ON MISSOURI'S CURRENT & JACKS FORK RIVERS

WE HAVE PLENTY OF CANOES, AND CAMPSITES AVAILABLE FOR MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND. PLEASE CALL
FOR RESERVATIONS.
The Current River is in excellent conditions for floating. The redbuds and dogwoods are blooming.
We have plenty of canoes &campsites available for MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND AT AKERS FERRY, JASON PLACE CAMPGROUND,&
JACKS FORK CANOE RENTAL & CAMPGROUND. People have been canoeing this weekend.
We are looking forward to seeing our spring floaters. The water is at a nice
level for canoeing. Our spring flowers are sprouting out of the ground.
We are here daily to answer the phones and we do renting canoes in the spring
We rent canoes and kayaks year round. We have plenty of canoes and campsites available
everyday. Please remember that we are a spring feed river.
For camping at Jason Place Campground, please check in at Akers Ferry.
The restaurant will reopen Memorial Day weekend 2008. Jason Place Store will reopen soon.

OUR WATER LEVELS ARE GREAT FROM BAPTIST CAMP DOWN ON THE CURRENT RIVER.
Canoes, Kayaks,Rafts, and tubes are available everyday this time of year.
Akers Ferry does sell hunting and fishing liscenses.

MISLEADING DIRECTIONS.From I44;
Take Hwy 68 south at St. James to Salem. At Salem take Hwy 19 South until you
come to KK highway approximately 23 miles south of Salem. Make a right on KK Jason Place is 4
miles in and Akers Ferry is 6 miles. Our directions will save you about 45 minutes
in driving times. WE HAVE USED CANOES FOR SALE.
