River Report... FLOATING CONDITIONS ON MISSOURI'S CURRENT & JACKS FORK RIVERS

WE STILL HAVE CANOES, KAYAKS, AND RAFTS FOR RENT FOR LABOR DAY WEEKEND. Please
call for reservations. WE ARE RUNNING A LABOR DAY SPECIAL;PLEASE CALL FOR INFORMATION.
OUR WATER LEVEL ON THE CURRENT AND JACKS FORK RIVER ARE
GREAT FOR CANOEING, RAFTING, TUBING, KAYAKING, AND CAMPING.
WE ARE FLOATING CANOES, KAYAKS, RAFTS, AND TUBES EVERYDAY
THE CURRENT RIVER AND THE JACKS FORK RIVER ARE
PERFECT FOR FLOATING. All weekends are still open for canoes,rafts, and kayaks.

THE CURRENT RIVER IS BEAUTIFUL FOR FLOATING.
. THE FISHING IS GREAT ALSO.
WE DO RENT CANOES DAILY THIS TIME OF THE YEAR. YOU CAN TROUT FISH FROM A CANOE ALONG THE RIVER.

for more information. We have 77 acres for sell near Current River located off of Route KK near Current River.
We have just reduced the price on this property. It is listed with Century 21 in Salem, MO
OUR OPERATING HOURS ARE 8AM-7PM DAILY. WE RENT CANOES DAILY AND WE ARE OPEN YEAR ROUND.
CANOES, KAYAKS, AND RAFTS ARE STILL AVAILABLE EVERY DAY SUNDAY THRU FRIDAY. Reservations
are not needed,however it does help us if we know you are coming and how many
canoes, rafts, and kayaks you need.
We also have plenty of campsites available. Please call for reservations.
JASON PLACE CAMPGROUND IS OPEN with its summer staff. If no one is at the Jason
place store please check in at Akers Ferry.
Please use a road map,the map on our brochure, or the map on the website to find us.
We are a rural route and some GPS are not programed to find us.
THE RIVERS ARE VERY ENJOYABLE FOR FLOATING.
PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE CURRENT RIVER IS LOCATED IN SHANNON COUNTY AND IF THE WEATHERMAN SAYS
IT RAINING IN SALEM. IT MAY NOT BE RAINING ON THE RIVER AS WE ARE 21 MILES SOUTH.
PLEASE USE A GOOD OLD FASHION ROAD MAP TO COME TO US AS MANY GPS SYSTEMS ARE TAKING PEOPLE
TO THE WRONG PLACES OR ON A WILD GOOSE CHASE.
We have plenty of canoes and campsites available at Akers Ferry, Jacks Fork, and Jason
Place during the week.
If your emails have not been answered our satellite dish has been down for two weeks
and we are not back in operation and trying to catch up

Please remember that cell phones do not work in our area. Also we no longer guarantee that
the hot tubs will be working. We are still working on our digital TVs. We are having to search
for antennas that will pick up farther than what our local Wal Mart sells.
All of our 800 numbers are working.
It is a beautiful time of year here in the Ozarks. The Current River is floatable
from Baptist Camp down.
Our evenings have been cool, but our days are warm. We are floating people and the fishing
is great. We do sell fishing liscense at our Akers Ferry Canoe Rental location only.
The water level is great for canoeing and fishing. We are looking forward to seeing everyone
this spring and summer.
We are asking our customers not to bring firewood from home or another state. We are
trying to keep the Emerald Ash borer (insect) out of Missouri. WE DO SELL FIREWOOD AND
CAMPFIRES ARE ALLOWED IN OUR CAMPGROUNDS.

We welcome canoers everyday. Please remember that we are open for canoeing everyday. We are
here from 7 AM to 7PM daily.
